How to: Enable User Engagement Surveys
Capture attendee feedback with ease through User Engagement Surveys.
User engagement surveys are optional surveys that enabled on the session page below the video player or sent to a session page by a moderator to gather attendee feedback. The survey contains a 1-5 star rating and optional text field for attendees to share their thoughts.
Enabling Static Session Page User Surveys
To enable a static User Engagement Survey below the video player on your session page, first, open your session in the Brandlive Sitebuilder.
Then, navigate to your session Settings tab and scroll down to "Enable feedback survey" and toggle it on.
Hover over the text to edit.
Publish to save your changes.
Your User Engagement Feedback survey will now persist below the video player for the session.
Scheduling & Sending Pop-Up Surveys
To access surveys, open the moderation panel for the session you wish to schedule or send an engagement survey to. Then, click the '+ Add button' in the top right corner and select 'Send Engagement Survey.'
Next, make a language selection and decide if you would like to send the survey now or schedule it for later.
- To send now: simply leave the scheduling toggle off and click send.
- To schedule: toggle the scheduling option on, select your desired date and time, and then click save.
Canceling a Scheduled Survey
To cancel a scheduled survey, follow the steps above to click "Send Engagement Survey" and then select "Cancel Scheduled Survey."
Viewing Survey Results
To view and download your survey results, close out of the editor and navigate to the Analytics tab of your Admin Console dashboard. Select your session.
In the righthand corner of the screen, you will see an infographic preview of your session's stay score.
To download the details, click 'Download reports' in the top right corner and select 'User Seesion Feedback'.
Attendee Experience
No matter if you choose to toggle on the survey vs. schedule it from moderation, it will appear to the attendees very similarly. The only difference is that attendees can complete the static User Engagement Survey below the video at anytime whereas if it is scheduled or sent to a session page via Moderation, attendees who are currently on the page will see a modal appear in the bottom left corner of the page inviting them to share their feedback.
Attendees can then rate the session on a scale of 1-5 stars and optionally share written feedback in the text field. Then, they will click 'Submit' to share their answers.
Attendees can decline to fill out the survey by selecting 'Cancel'.
