Take the guesswork out of media formatting with these video specs that pave the way for your media to look its best in Greenroom.

Greenroom works with a wide variety of media files in the .mp4, .webm, and .mov formats. While we expect all files to work, we do have recommended settings to ensure success. In this article, we’ll provide our video upload recommendations plus give examples of third-party conversion tools.

Video Upload Recommendations

• File size limit: 5GB (Note: this is required.)
• Encoding type: H.264
• Supported resolutions: Up to 1080p
• Frame rate: 30fps
• Data rate: Up to 4,000Kbps. (Note: Any file uploaded above a 4000Kbp/s bitrate (4Mb/s) will run through a compression process, and may take longer to upload. Exporting your file at or below this bitrate will provide a quicker uploaded process.)
