How to: Gate Registration by Email Domain
Secure your content with email domain gating.
Email domain gating provides peace of mind for Admins and a simple registration experience for attendees. Select which domains to allow and block + turn on required registration confirmation emails for an additional layer of security.
How to Block Access by Email Domain
To block access to your event or webinar by email domain, navigate to the Registration page for your project and select the Settings tab at the top of the page menu.
Then, select 'Gating':
Next, toggle on 'Blocked Domain Emails" (grayed out until domains are added):
A modal will appear to input your domains. Once you have entered all domains you wish to block, click 'Apply'.
Publish your page to save your changes.
How to Allow Access by Email Domain
To allow access to your event or webinar by email domain, navigate to the Registration page for your project and select the Settings tab at the top of the page menu.
Then, select 'Gating':
A modal will appear to select your gating requirements. Select 'Domain email' from the dropdown:
Add your allowed domains and select 'Apply'.
Publish your site for the changes to take effect.
Attendee Experience
Attendees who attempt to register for your event or webinar with a blocked domain or a domain that is not listed in your allowed domains will not be able to enter your site. Instead, they will receive the following message:
