Feature Overview: Watermarking

Security around proprietary content is an ever growing concern. Brandlive's Watermarking feature adds a series of watermarks on top of the video player, unique to each attendee. If replications such as screenshots, recordings, or phone/camera shots of the content are shared, the email of the bad actor is easy to trace to the source. 

How to Configure

1. Create a project and add a session. 
2. Go to the session page editor > Settings tab. 
3. Scroll down to Session Options and see toggle for “End User Watermarking.”
4. Toggle on and publish the page. 
5. Stream from the source of your choice to the attendee page.

To Test

1. Go to the attendee page and register. 
2. Once on the session page, you will see a watermark of the email you used to register displayed across the video player. 

Important Notes:

• Registration must be enabled in your project to use Watermarking. 
• Watermarking is NOT usable in conjunction with embeds. 
• Watermarking is NOT available in iOS full screen mode.
