How do time zones work within Multi-Registration?

Q: How do time zones work within Multi-Registration?

A: For users who do select a time zone other than the default, both new and existing users will be updated to the new time zone they selected at the time of registration.
For registrants who do not select a specific time zone, and keep the drop down showing as the Default - Central Time:

1. Brand new users to the tenant (who have not previously registered for a webcast in the tenant) will be registered with the Default - Central time zone.
2. Existing users in the tenant who have previously registered for a webcast with a time zone other than the default (such as Eastern Time) will retain their existing time zone. The time zone will not be overrode with the default option. They will keep the preference they previously selected.
