How to Configure a Custom From Email Address
Brandlive offers a variety of customization options when building a site. This article outlines the requirements and steps for customers to use a specific email address rather than "info@brandlive.com" as the from address for platform emails.
- In your Channel, navigate to the Settings tab:
- Click to edit the Email Settings
- Enter the custom email address in the “From email” field and Save.
- This will triggers a confirmation email that is sent to the custom email address. The client will need to confirm the email address.
- Submit a Solutions Ticket with the custom address and request to receive the DKIM and Return-Path.
- Once received, provide the DKIM and Return Path to the client and their IT team to add them to their DNS.
- After the client confirms the update to their DNS, inform Solutions and they will verify the configurations are set and accurate.
- Once the configurations are verified, change the email address to info@brandlive.com and revert back to the email address.
- Register an event to confirm the registration confirmation email sent from the custom email address.
Note: This address is Channel wide setting and will be applied to all emails from the Channel across all projects.
