Feature Overview: Upload Registrants

Why wait for your desired audience to click Register? Now admins can directly upload registrants from a CSV file to a Brandlive project, streamlining the registration process and granting admins a greater level of control over their audience’s actions. This new process will simplify the process of registration, reduce reliance on audience registration and/or manual data entry and improve efficiency for organizers of large registration pools.

New Callouts:

Registration Tab within Project Details has been updated to include the following new Sub-tabs and a button to add users:

All Registrants are all those who have either registered on the site or have clicked the magic link in their inbox from the registration confirmation email

Uploaded Registrants are those who have been registered by an admin.

How to Use:

• In your Channel, Navigate to the Projects dashboard and the specific Project you're wanting to upload registrants for. On the Project Details page, click into the Registration Tab.
• Click the +Add button and a modal will appear with the option to upload a CSV file or if you would like to add users individually.

• To upload manually, we recommend you download the template and fill it out accordingly. Please note that manually uploaded registrations can only include the below fields:
            First name
            Last name
            Email address
• Once you have added your registrants, either bulk or individually, click Save. You will be prompted to be sure you are comfortable with the design of your registration confirmation email with an option of sending yourself a test email first.

• After previewing the registration confirmation email, click Send. You will see pop-up notifications alerting you of the successful registration addition.

• This triggers the immediate delivery of your configured registration confirmation email.
• When a user clicks the magic link from the registration confirmation email the admin has just generated, they will be seamlessly directed to the home or session page of the site, bypassing the registration page.

Important Notes:

• Uploaded registrants that do NOT click the magic link will NOT appear on the All Registrants list or on the Registration report in Analytics.
• To use additional Registration fields, it is recommended to utilize another registration flow.
• The file limit per upload is 1000 registrants. Projects that require more than 1000 registrants uploaded will need to be imported via separate files.
• Projects must be published before uploading any registrants.
