Advanced Feed Settings
When inside the greenroom, you can right click on any feed to expose a handful of options.
Edit Profile
This is where you can edit the details of a specific user feed:
Advanced Audio
"Advanced Audio" is for use cases where audio is being managed by a mixing board, or you're bringing audio from a live instrument into the greenroom.
Advanced Audio changes the following settings:
- Stereo sound on
- Auto leveling off
- Noise cancellation off
Note:
If used incorrectly, advanced audio will cause echo.
Enable 1080p
All Greenroom sessions by default stream out to the audience at 1080p, but all default presenter feeds have their inbound resolution set to 720p.
"Enable 1080p" allows the option to opt-in for the full resolution for a particular feed. 1080p presenter video feeds can be resource intensive on both the computer creating the video feed, as well as the internet connection that is being utilized, so it's important to discuss and test options before enabling.
Onsite
Marking a feed as "Onsite" flags it to Greenroom to let it know that user is onsite and attaches them to the onsite program feed. This is important because anyone onsite will not want their own audio going out (specifically the onsite presenters). Since this person is somewhere onsite, in-person and likely speaking into a mic or PA system, there would be double-audio without this function turned on.
