Creating a Custom Landing Page

In this article, you'll learn how to use Webinar+'s Canvas website builder to create a custom event landing page.

Creating the Page

Navigate to the Landing page tab under the registration section. Here, you'll see a default landing page that's already live. You have two options: use the default landing page or create a custom one with Webinar+ Canvas.

Enter the builder flow. Here, you'll find several options. You can start with a blank template or choose from existing templates like Pure Nova and Lux.

Name your template and click continue.
 

Editing and Adding Sections

All templates will come with set sections that organisers can configure from the left side menu:

• Hero
• Speakers
• Sponsor
• Schedule
• Blog
• Register
• Footer

Different sections have various settings available to customize:

Adding Sections

Additional content sections are available to add to your custom page:

• Image Block
• Image, Text & Button
• Text & Button
• Multi-Column Grid

Depending on the section type added, you can then customize it's contents.

Publishing and Saving

Understanding Unsaved Changes

• Whenever you make new edits—such as adding sections, updating content, or adjusting design elements—you will notice an “Unsaved changes” status at the top of the page.

• This is a real-time indicator that you have made edits that have not yet been stored.

  

Saving Your Work

• To avoid losing any updates, click the Save button. This action stores your current progress.

• Once saved, the status at the top will change from “Unsaved changes” to “Changes saved”, assuring you that your work is secure. You will see a toast notification at the bottom confirming the same.

  

Publishing the Site for the First Time

• When you’re ready to make your website visible to the public for the very first time, simply click on the Publish button.

• After publishing, you will see a “Published” status at the top, letting you know your site is now live for visitors.

  

Ongoing Edits After Publishing

• If you make additional changes after publishing, the “Unsaved changes” status reappears, signaling there are fresh edits that haven’t yet been saved or published.

• Along with these unsaved changes, you’ll notice a “Revert to Published State” button. Clicking this will undo unsaved changes and revert your website to how it appeared at the last publish, offering a safe way to discard unwanted edits.

  

Advanced Publishing Controls for Live Sites

• For sites that have already been published, the Publish button transforms into a drop-down button.
• Clicking this drop-down reveals:
  • The current live URL of your site.
  • The last published date and the name of the user who last edited..

  • An Update Site (Publish with all changes) option, which allows you to instantly publish all recent edits and update your live website.

    

Preview your website. You can switch between multiple views: website, desktop, tablet, and mobile. For a full view, click preview. (Marked as A in below image)
 

And that's it! You've now created a custom event landing page using Webinar+'s Canvas website builder.
