What is the difference between a free ticket and paid ticket?

Free tickets are free for attendees. The attendees can register through free tickets. 

Organizers can set a price for their event and create paid tickets for their event. 
The attendees can buy the tickets to register for the event.

The ticket type can be selected as Free or Paid while adding a new ticket under Registration > Tickets
