Studio Webcasting Email Messaging Customization Guide
When configuring webcast emails in the Messaging tab, you may edit in HTML mode or by using the Plain Text Editor. Follow the steps and best practices below to accomplish each.
Edit Messaging in HTML Mode
In the tenant, go to the MESSAGING tab.
Select the email message you want to customize. In this example, we will customize the “Registration Confirmation” email.
Click on EDIT EMAIL.
In the top bar, select “View”, then “Source code”.
Select the text to be changed.
Type in the new text. Click on Save.
Confirm the edits in design view. Click on Save.
TIP: Always send yourself a test email to confirm your customized message.
Edit Messaging in the Rich Text Editor
In the tenant, go to the MESSAGING tab.
Select the email message you want to customize. In this example, we will customize the “Registration Confirmation” email.
Click on EDIT EMAIL.
Make the necessary edits to the text.
TIP:
- The message is configured so it will appear correctly on all email clients; don’t change the layout or move any of the lines around the paragraphs.
- To avoid messing up the formatting, simply select the word or phrase you want to change, delete it except for the first letter. Type your text, then delete the original first letter.
Once edits are made, click on Save.
TIP: Always send yourself a test email to confirm your customized message.
