How to Replace a Broadcast Session's Replay Content

Every show in Greenroom is automatically captured, giving you a complete recording of exactly what aired. But not every moment needs to make the final cut. Whether you’re tightening up the content, removing a miscue, or delivering a more polished on-demand experience, Brandlive gives you the flexibility to replace your existing broadcast archive with an updated version.

With a simple update, you can swap in your edited file  and ensure your audience sees the version you intend: clean, intentional, and on-brand. This article will walk you through how to replace your recording and keep your post-event experience just as strong as your live one.

Enter the site editor for the project you want to update, and navigate to the session page that requires the updated content.

On the Session Page menu, click into the "Settings" tab and click on the pencil icon in the "Basic Info" section.

This will open a pop-up menu of the session details. Change session type from Broadcast to On Demand and click Save.

Your session has now been switched to On Demand, and in the "Streaming" section we can now add and select the video we want to use.

Clicking the pencil icon will open a menu to upload or select an existing video that has been added to your Channel. Make your selection or import and click "Done" and be sure to publish.

You have now successfully replaced the default archive file from your Broadcast session with a specific file of your choice.
