Overview: Sites

A Site in BrandTV is a customizable, branded video destination that allows organizations to organize and showcase their media in one centralized experience. From live events and Channel projects to uploaded videos and external links, Sites make it easy to build a curated streaming hub tailored to your audience and brand.

Create a Site

To create a new site, navigate to the “Sites” tab from the BrandTV admin dashboard.

Click the “+ Create New Site" button in the top right corner and a template modal will appear.

Scroll through the list of templates to preview and choose which template to create from. Once selected, your site will be created and the site editor will launch.

Editing a Site

Once your site is created, you’ll have the option to customize the look and feel. Navigate between the Login, Home, and Upcoming pages to select layouts, imagery, and top navigation.

Configurable Elements:

Page Layout

Determine the base structure of the page.

Top Navigation

Setup and stylize the navigational menu.

Hero Section

Featured media or graphics at the very top of the page.

Category Sections

Each category enabled within your site can have it's own unique style and layout.

Once in the site editor, click the icon in the top left to expand the left side menu and choose which areas of the site you wish to configure.

Click between the various pages and sections directly on the pages to customize content and layouts.

Open the Themes menu from the top to set the color palette for the site or create a new one:

Site Settings

Site settings are where admins can set basic information about their site. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the site editor to navigate to the settings menu.

The General section allows choosing a Site Name, Description, and URL. Admins can also configure images such as Favicons and Social previews.

The Domains section will display your site’s URL and an option to configure a Custom Domain if preferred. Reach out to Brandlive Support for assistance with a custom domain.

Publishing a Site

Once you’ve finished configuring your site, you’ll need to Publish to save your settings and generate the URL.

In the top right corner of the site editor, you’ll see a Publish icon. Clicking this icon allows Admins to publish any unsaved changes.

Once published, the URL becomes available to click on and/or copy. Admins will see the time stamp from the last publish and will have the option to unpublish or add a custom domain.
