Feature Overview: Cast & Crew

Every great show starts with the right people in the right roles. Cast & Crew is where you build the team that will power your broadcast, ensuring everyone has the information and access they need before you go live.

Cast

The Cast includes your presenters, speakers, and moderators—anyone who will appear on screen or participate in the event experience. For each cast member, you can capture key details such as their name, title, location, and headshot, ensuring their information is ready for graphics, directories, and session displays.

Crew

The Crew is your production team, typically Brandlive Producers or internal operators, who receive elevated access in Greenroom to manage the show, support presenters, and keep everything running smoothly from start to finish. Once your team is added, you can send formal invitations to Greenroom directly from the Cast & Crew interface, making onboarding simple and centralized.

How to Configure

Admins have two options to set up the cast and crew:

From the Overview Page

On the overview page, under "Storyline" there is a section labeled "Cast". In the dropdown, select from existing cast members or create new. When creating new a modal will appear to add cast member information.

To add Crew from the Overview page, click the "Invite Crew" icon in the top right of the screen. 

Add their email address and select their role, and click invite to officially add them.

Note: Inviting Crew members only adds them to that specific project you are inviting them from.

From the Cast & Crew Tab

From the Overview page, click to open the side navigation and select "Cast & Crew". The Cast and Crew page will load displaying areas to add to either section. 

When clicking "+Add" a modal appears to add previous or create new cast and crew members.
