Create a Custom Section

A Site is more than a home for media, it’s an opportunity to build an experience around your content. With Custom Sections, admins can go beyond media and categories by adding flexible content blocks like About sections, CTAs, FAQs, galleries, hero images, logo lists, and team or speaker displays. Start with a pre-built block, use Telly AI to help generate the experience you’re looking for, or bring your own vision to life with custom HTML. Custom Sections give you more ways to shape your Site around your brand, your content, and your audience.

Adding a Custom Section

Navigate to the Sites tab, and click the site you want to customize to open the site editor. With the Home Page selected, the editing menu will display an option "+ Custom Section"

A menu of 3 options will appear for admins to configure the new custom section.

Choose a block
Admins may choose from a list of pre-built sections.

• About - add a short description and/or image to provide more context or value.
• Category - add one of your configured categories
• CTA - add a button or call to action to link out to additional content/materials
• FAQ - add an accordion style module to show commonly asked questions and answers
• Gallery - add a library of images to scroll through
• Hero - add an additional hero banner
• Logo List - add a graphic banner to showcase logos of sponsors or collaborators
• Team - add a display of speakers or presenters
