What is the difference between viewing a webcast on mobile and viewing a webcast on mobile with Second Screen?
Q: What is the difference between viewing a webcast on mobile and viewing a webcast on mobile with Second Screen?
A: Mobile webcast viewing is intended for users who wish to watch and participate in a Live, Simulive or On Demand webcast via their mobile device. Users who watch webcasts on mobile are able to see video, hear audio and participate in audience engagement features (such as polling questions and chat). The mobile viewing audience should be remote to the live, onsite and/or viewing room location(s).
Second Screen empowers onsite and/or viewing room attendees to actively engage with a Live Studio webcast via their mobile devices, without causing bandwidth concerns at their location. This interaction is provided with minimal impact on the locations’ wireless bandwidth as it does not pull video and audio. Low bandwidth interactive slides & engagement features (such as polling questions and chat) are enabled to connect & engage both physical and virtual attendees.
