What is Auto Switch Active Speaker?

Q:  I'm creating a scene in the Scene Designer and I'm presented with the option "Auto Switch Active Speaker".  What does this do?

A:  If you enable, “Auto Switch Active Speaker”, this will display the individual currently speaking in the most prominent pod in the scene.

For example, if Jennifer Mountgomery is speaking she will display in the prominent pod in the scene, which is A.  If at any point Benjamin Dueker speaks, he will replace Jennifer Mountgomery and display in pod A.
