Recent Update for Slides in Studio - March 5, 2026
Please note, as of March 5, 2026, the following changes were made for Slides in Studio.
• Font Uploads
Custom font uploads will no longer be supported. This includes fonts that were previously uploaded to our platform. Embedded fonts will be supported instead. Image uploads may also be used if no animations are needed. Please ensure that all custom fonts are changed to embedded by March 5, 2026.
• Processing Time for Slide Uploads
There may be a small increase in processing times for slide uploads. It is recommended to upload all slides at least 1 hour prior to your start time for best results.
How to Embed Fonts in Your PowerPoint Deck
Before uploading, follow these steps to lock your fonts into your presentation:
For Windows Users
- Go to the File tab and select Options.
- In the sidebar, select Save.
- Under "Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation," check Embed fonts in the file.
- Select Embed all characters (best for last-minute edits).
- Click OK and save your file.
For Mac Users
- Open the PowerPoint menu at the top left and select Preferences.
- Under "Output and Sharing," click Save.
- Check the box for Embed fonts in the file.
- Select Embed all characters.
- Close the window and save your file.
