How to: Create a New Project
Create beautiful, customized projects for all your marketing, education or community needs. BrandTV makes it easy to get started on the project creation process. Just follow the steps outlined in the guide below and sooner than later, you'll be designing award-winning projects in your sleep!
Creating a Project
From the BrandTV admin dashboard, navigate to the “Live” tab and simply click the "+ Live Project" button in the upper righthand corner.
You will land on a page that will ask if you would like to create a project from a template or create a new blank project. If you want a step-by-step guide on template creation, click here. For now, select "+ Start from Scatch":
Once your template is selected, the project will be created and you will land on the Overview page.
Crucial project details can be set from the Overview page. These include:
- Your project name
- The Date, Time, and Timezone
- Project, Registration, and Watch Page Images
- Video Source and Destination
- The design theme your project will use
- Set which languages are available
- Add this project to a series
- Add project categories and tags
- Add a summary (Storyline)
Once your basic details are confirmed, you can begin to customize your project in the Page Editor. Click the “Edit” button in the top right of the screen and select a page to launch the editor:
Here you are able to customize your project any way you like. Configure Registration and Watch Pages, or add additional options such as Landing or Home pages.
Once you are satisfied with your event's look and feel, click the "Publish" button in the upper righthand corner of the page and once published, the URL can be copied from the same button.
